SACRIFICIO is an art video documenting the donation of hair for the creation of a sculpture. P decides to contribute part of his ponytail to the artist and friend Živko Grozdanić Gera for his allegorical sculpture titled ‘Meteorite Rain.’ This piece is a replica and appropriation of Maurizio Cattelan’s work ‘La Nona Ora’ (1999), where the figure of the Pope is replaced by Serbian Patriarch Paul. M clips the long part of P’s ponytail, which ultimately serves as the beard and hair on the sculpture of Serbian Patriarch Paul. In this act, P ‘sacrifices’ for art, embodying both the sacred and the profane allegory.
