MP´s first project abroad makes distressfully tangible the vague limits of inside and outside reality. The abstract and so far supposedly clear look inside, upon the various manifestations of interhuman interaction, is facing here severe confusion. This new view offers now an invisible inequality within the two elements – M and P – of this artistic/artificial unity. A temporal as well as geographical break during MP´s prehistory has resulted in different national “memberships” of both protagonists. Grown from the same roots and formed by the same mentality this break turned into a concrete barrier for their journey by now.
“Reflective reality” comments on this cynical situation in a temporally and formally reduced way. A sequence of ambient music takes the very moment of crossing the border out of the natural course of time. The inequality of M and P – the im/possibility of passing through – is now visible through the colors “red” and “green” behind the translucent wall while the couple´s glance demonstrates their unity. For a period of five long minutes the moment of dissolution of this barrier is frozen and dramatized by sound, until – without any excitement – the artificial obstacle vanishes in laughter.
